Congratulations to One of Our Own Students for Being Awarded Rotary Student of the Month

The Columbia County Rotary Club and Rainier High School are pleased to honor Lillyan Heil as the October Rotary Student of the Month.

Lillyan is an outstanding student that has an upbeat personality and always has a smile on her face. Lilly is one of those students that helps create and contributes to the positive climate at Rainier Junior Senior  High School.

Lilly has been and continues to be a major contributor to the RJSHS yearbook,  showing tremendous promise as both a photographer and writer. 

When not at school Lilly enjoys playing the piano (the theme from "La La Land" is a favorite) and spending time with family and friends,  especially her best friend Bree. Among her many positive attributes,  perhaps her greatest trait is her kindness. Lilly is kind,  warm,  and friendly to others,  and is every thing we want our students to be. 

Her teachers have high praise for her, noting her hard work, positivity, and dedication. She is an outstanding office aide, answering phones in a professional manner and taking on increasing responsibilities week by week. 

After graduation, Lilly plans to get her real estate license and then eventually go to school to be an ultrasound technician or possibly go into pediatric nursing

For all of these reasons and more, The Columbia County Rotary Club and RJSHS  are proud to honor Lillyan as the Rotary Student of the Month.
